The big apple has for many years been one of the number one tourist destination spot in the world for tourist. New York City has been a mecca for culture, entertainment, and media for the western world for quite so time. With much to do from going to the top of skyscrapers, to time square, New York City really has an endless amount of actives to do for tourist. It’s very obvious that a tourist can’t see all these attractions in one day. If you’re starting to freak out having no idea of what you want to do when visiting New York City, this article will explain perfectly what you should see and do and see when visiting New York City.
The City That Never Sleeps
New York is really the city that never sleeps, and anybody who has been to New York knows this. Being that you’re visiting I would set up a plan to see all the sites from the empire state building, to the statue of liberty. Call up a tour guide company and have them plan out a trip to make sure you hit all the major sites. Tour packages have major discounts for people who spend money with a lot of these tour agencies. For example if you were to spend 2000$ on a trip to New York City you would get major discounts because the recession has hit the travel business very hard. Being able to leverage this will give you a huge advantage when you want to visit New York.
Yankee Stadium
As a huge baseball fan, I feel that any trip to New York City without seeing the Yankee’s isn’t complete. While I’m not a fan of the team, going to see Yankee Stadium is a hot tourist spot. Inside Yankee Stadium you can fit 50,000 people. Inside the stadium there are 5 star restaurants, places to shop, and the Yankee Hall of Fame. I strongly encourage anybody to visit Yankee Stadium if they are visiting New York.
Times Square
Probably the biggest place everybody wants to go and visit when going to New York is time square. Time square has everything from top shopping areas, restaurants, and many shows like good morning America. Millions of people have been to time square and there is always something to do. Visiting time square is free so if you don’t have a lot of money this is a good tourist destination that anybody can visit. Make sure if you are staying in New York that you get a place close to time square where you can walk to it so you don’t have to pay a cab to save some money. When talking with your agency, make sure that you plan this out with them so you save the most amount of money because New York is very expensive to visit.

I would hope that if you are planning a vacation that you decide to visit the big apple. For anybody looking to have a vacation, you can’t go wrong deciding to visit the city that never sleeps.
